I am the owner of White Rock Creek Therapy and opened this practice in 2017. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
I chose to enter the counseling field because I found purpose walking alongside others as they discover their inner potential for healing and growth. When requested by clients, I enjoy helping clients use their faith in their mental health story. My LPC-S status allows me to supervise other therapists working on their LPC credentials. I am passionate about helping the next generation of therapists in being approachable, structured and have a focus on helping supervisees increase confidence in their work.
I have spent the past 10+ years working in inpatient and outpatient treatment centers specializing in body image, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) and other specified eating disorder (OSFED). I am knowledgeable with the step-up and step-down process of treatment to make sure clients are receiving the appropriate level of care to be successful. I explore root causes of using food or exercise for coping. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to promote healing through challenging negative thought patterns and promoting healthy coping skills. I frequently collaborate with my client’s Registered Dieticians and/or Psychiatrist in order to offer clients a holistic approach to healing. I incorporate family sessions to teach how to support loved ones during mealtimes and through every step of recovery. I also run a weekly young adult outpatient support group creating a recovery-focused community of peers for clients to lean on.
Play/Activity-based therapy is a developmentally appropriate form of therapy for children. Play/Activity-based therapy incorporates intentional activities based on what the child is struggling with to create a safe space for children to explore thoughts and feelings that may feel difficult to express. I have found the most success in therapy with children when parents are involved in parent sessions where parents can ask questions and learn new skills to use at home to enhance the parent-child relationship.
I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental environment that will establish a strong relationship between the client and myself. Through a strong client-therapist relationship I am able to be direct with my clients and counter unhelpful patterns of thought to promote the healthy change they are seeking. I trust that clients are capable of moving toward becoming the person they would like to be. My role as the therapist is to provide structure, validation and techniques needed for change so the client can discover personalized solutions to the concerns that are currently affecting their lives.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My education and training have focused on working with children, teens, adults and families who are struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation and trauma. I am passionate about helping client’s recognize that they possess the inner strength and resiliency to find healing and peace. Seeking counseling takes courage but is the first step in choosing change and growth.
In addition to private practice, I have spent the past 5+ years working at both inpatient and outpatient settings focusing on body image, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) and other specified eating disorder (OSFED). Because of my experience, I am extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the step up and step down process of treatment centers and how to ensure each individual is in the right place to receive the level of care they need in order to be successful with recovery.
I strive to create a strong therapeutic relationship with clients while helping them reach goals through personal exploration. In addition to individual therapy, I offer family therapy sessions in order to help bridge communication gaps between family members and give clients the opportunity to express the kind of environment they need in order to continue with success. I collaborate with other clinicians in client’s lives such as dietitians or psychiatrists in order to ensure all angles of client’s treatment are being considered. I also offer a teen support group which meets weekly and creates a recovery-focused community of peers for clients to lean on.
I believe my role as a therapist is to provide a space where individuals can discover their fullest potential with unconditional positive regard while challenging unhealthy thought patterns that create stress in their lives. I strive to view each client as an individual and work to conceptualize each client according to his or her specific needs. I also prioritize creating authentic therapeutic relationships that allow me to meet my clients where they are and help them to feel safe, heard and validated.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
I started my career as an elementary school teacher and became passionate to support individuals not only in their academic life, but also their personal life. This is what led me to obtain my Masters Degree in Mental Health and Counseling. After I received my Masters Degree, I worked as a middle school counselor. With a background in teaching and school counseling, I have gained understanding of how much our environment can positively and negatively affect our mental health. I have also gained an understanding of 504 and special education accommodations to advocate for students’ rights to set individuals up for success in an inclusive and supportive environment.
I transitioned to seeing clients in private practice where I work with clients of all ages. I have specialty work with children, adolescents and teens experiencing emotional stress including low self- esteem, peer pressure, anxiety, depression, academic stress, eating disorders, self-harm and suicidal ideation.
I am currently obtaining the supervision hours to become a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and have a passion for Play/Activity-Based Therapy for younger clients that may not be ready for traditional talk-therapy. When doing play therapy, I aim to bring a lightness to therapy to make children feel safe. I enjoy working with parents to teach techniques that they can use at home to help with presenting concerns.
I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and feel passionate about creating a solutions-focused approach to therapy to empower clients. I support clients as they navigate complex emotions by helping them increase self-awareness, develop individualized goals, and teach coping strategies that make sense for their lives. I believe therapy should be personalized to meet each client’s needs and practical enough where clients feel like the desired change is within their reach.
